You may use it to let new hires introduce themselves, share their stories or simply to show your new hires the corporate feed.

Be aware that Twitter and Instagram are not a part of our system and that we can’t influence the data displayed, this means that content shared at the accounts will also be available for external users. Therefore we encourage to only share non-confidential information.

Follow the steps to create a Social story

Step 1. Navigate to the chapter where you want to add the page.

Step 2. Click the add page button to open the pop-up. Click on ‘Social story’.

Step 3. Fill out the text fields name and description to give the user some context about the feed.

Step 4. When you’re done filling out the text fields scroll down towards ‘Type’. Here you can select to create a Twitter or an Instagram page.

Step 5. These steps are different for Twitter and Instagram.

For Twitter: Open a new tab in you internet browser and navigate to the following url: This will open the Widgets Configurator of Twitter. Twitter offers a set of option like a user timeline, likes, list, search or a collection. These are all different types of feeds and you can compile one that fits you needs. Once you are ready click the ‘Create widget’ button.

The code will look similar to this:

<a class="twitter-timeline" href="" data-widget-id="68799848056733696">#lifeatspotify Tweets</a>

!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?’http’:’https’;if(!d.getElementById(id))js=d.create </i></p><p data-align="left"><i>Element(s);;js.src=p+”://”;fjs.parent Node.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,”script”,”twitter-wjs”);

AppicalNow doesn’t need the whole code, but only the part that’s called Data Widget ID. So in this case: “681799848056733696“. Copy the Widget ID and paste into the editor. After you’ve copied the ID into the Editor click Create to finalize your page.

For instagram: Open a new tab in you internet browser and navigate to the Instagram post you’d like to share. Once you have the post in front of you click the three horizontal dots in the right bottom of the post. Clicking will open the menu as shown below. Click on Embed and copy the code that Instagram provides. After you’ve copied the Embed code into the Editor click Create to finalize your page.
