Overview

By customising the language settings, users can make sure they follow content and interface elements in their chosen language, making the experience smoother and more accessible for multilingual teams.

Example:
For instance, if you have a multilingual team and you want to make sure that your new hire can follow the onboarding steps in their preferred language, adjusting these settings ensures they have a better, more personalised experience.

Currently, there are two language options available:

  • Device Language: This determines the language for buttons and the app interface.

  • Content Language: This sets the language for the content prepared for the user.

Steps to Set Language Preferences in AppicalPlayer

Go to Settings

Navigate to the Settings section. You can find this in the top right corner of the app, represented by the gear icon. Tap on it to access the settings menu.

Select Language

Within the settings menu, you will find an option labeled Language. Tap on this option to proceed to the language preferences.

  • Choose the Language for the Content: Here, you will be presented with a list of languages for the content. Select the language that you prefer for reading and following the content. This will adjust the text, descriptions, and information displayed within the app.

  • Choose the Language for Buttons and Interface: Choose the language for the interface buttons and navigation. This will ensure that the app's UI elements, such as buttons, labels, and menus, are displayed in your selected language.
