This article explains how users can change their personal email address to their work email in AppicalPlayer. When new employees complete their pre-boarding and begin their first week at their new job, they often receive a new company email address. For convenience, many prefer to use this work email for accessing all work-related tools — including the onboarding platform.
In organisations that have an HR system integration in place, this change is often automated and the work email is applied to the user's profile on their first working day. However, for companies without such an integration, users can manually update their email address in their AppicalPlayer profile.

Imagine you've started your new job and now have a company email. To avoid juggling different accounts, you'd rather use your work email to log into the onboarding platform. With just a few steps, you can make this change yourself.

Steps to Update Your Email Address in AppicalPlayer
→ Accessing Your Profile
Click on your user icon in the top-right corner of the AppicalPlayer screen. A dropdown menu will appear. Select “Profile” to access your user settings.
→ Editing Your Email Address
On your profile page, click the pencil icon next to your email address field. This will allow you to edit your current email.
→ Enter New Email Address
Type in your new work email address and double-check for any typos. Once entered, click “Save.”
→ Confirmation
After saving, you will see your updated email address reflected in your profile.
