In this tutorial you will learn how to create a custom report on manager actions, on a single manager, group or preset level.

Step 1. Click on Reporting in the menu

Step 2. Navigate to Manager report and click on select

Step 3. User selection

You can choose whether you would like to run the report on a single user (manager) level, group or preset level. During group selection, only the groups that have managers added to will be displayed. During preset selection, all available presets will be displayed and each manager that has the preset assigned will be included in the output.

Step 4. Column selection on single user (manager) level

During this step you can choose what data should be included in your output related to the manager itself.

Step 5. Column selection on an average level

During this step you can choose what data should be included in your output related to the managers, however not on a single user level, but an average level. For example if you would like to know how many times managers log into AppicalNow average.

Step 6. Column selection on a connection level

During this step you can choose what data should be included in your output related to the connections of managers. For example if you would like to know whether the manager sent the welcome message to the connection or not.

Step 7. Run your report and get the output

When the columns are chosen and the user clicks on “Generate report”, the attachment will be downloaded. The output contains multiple tabs, Data on single user (manager) level is one tab, Averages is another tab, and connections is a third tab.

Please note, if the output is too big an email will be generated and sent to the user instead, with the report attached. Furthermore, you can not run the report on more than 5000 managers at once.

Good to know

Manager report can be connected to restricted reporting, in this case we make sure that no data can be connected to a single user, meaning, single user (manager) report will be disabled and reports can only be run on groups that have at least 5 users added and on presets, if there is at least 5 manager with that specific preset assigned.

We also support external reporters, user managers and editors. These users will only have access to the users that belong to the same group as they do.
