Overview

Two Factor Authentication (also known as 2FA, two-step verification, or TFA) is an advanced security feature that requires you to verify your identity through multiple means. Instead of only needing a username and password, you’ll also need a code sent to your email. This makes it harder for anyone to access your account without your permission.

Example

If you were trying to log in, you would first enter your regular username and password, but then you would also need to input a time-sensitive code sent to your email. This added step increases security, ensuring that only you can access your account.

📌 Note: Two Factor Authentication is disabled by default. To enable it, please contact support at [email protected] or through the chat feature.

Steps to Log In Using Two Factor Authentication

→ Go to the Login Page

Navigate to AppicalNow and enter your email and password as you normally would.

→ Two Factor Authentication Prompt

After logging in with your username and password, you'll be prompted with a screen asking you to enter a code.

→ Retrieve Your Authentication Code

Go to your email inbox and open the message from Appical titled: "Your two-factor authentication code". The email will contain the code you need.

Note: If you don't receive the email, click on 'Didn't receive an email? Click here to resend it.'

→ Enter the Code

On the login screen, input the code you received in your email.

→ Verify and Access Your Account

Click on the ‘Verify’ button, and you’ll be successfully logged in!
