Overview
In this tutorial, you will learn how to access and interpret your course analytics. The course analytics dashboard provides valuable data on user engagement, average completion time, and overall user activity. Understanding these insights will help you improve your course design and measure its effectiveness.
Example:
For instance, if you’re managing an onboarding course, you might want to see how long it takes for new employees to complete the course. You could use the analytics to identify which sections of the course are engaging or where learners might be struggling.
📌 Important:
Analytics data is available up to 3 months of user activity. For ongoing data, you can select different time periods such as the last 30 days or last 7 days.
You also can find relevant data information in the Dashboard page.
Steps to View Course Analytics
→ Navigate to Courses Analytics
To begin, go to 'Courses' in the menu on the left side of the screen. Here you will see all the courses you have created.
Next, click on the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner of the course card and select 'Analytics' from the dropdown menu.
→ Select the time duration
In the first dropdown menu, choose the desired time period for analysis. You can select:
'Last 3 months' to see long-term trends.
'Last 30 days' for a more recent view.
'Last 7 days' to focus on the most recent week of activity.
→ Select the User Group
In the second dropdown menu, select the group of users you wish to analyse. You can segment users by different groups such as 'New Employees', 'All Users', or 'Management Team', depending on how you’ve set up your user groups.
→ Review the Analytics Data
Now that you’ve selected your desired filters, you’ll see various charts and metrics, such as:
Average Days Until Completion: How long it takes users to finish the course.
Total Amount of Pages Learned: The total number of pages users have accessed.
Average Minutes Learned: The average time users have spent on the course.
Active Users: The number of users actively engaging with the course.
User Progress: A pie chart that displays users’ progress—whether they are Completed, In Progress, or No Progress.
