In this tutorial, you'll learn how to set a chapter to 'Draft', effectively hiding it from your users while you're working on updating or editing the content. Setting a chapter to Draft is useful when you're still in the process of finalising a chapter and don't want users to see incomplete or under-construction material.

Example: if you're working on a new chapter or updating an existing one, setting it to Draft will allow you to work on it in the background without affecting the user experience.

Steps to Set a Chapter to Draft

β†’ Navigate to Courses and Editor

  1. Click on 'Courses' in the menu on the left side of the screen.

  2. Then, select the course you want to work with.

  3. Next, click on 'Editor' in the bottom-left corner of the selected course.

β†’ Select the Story

Click on 'View' next to the story where the chapter you want to set to draft is located.

β†’ Navigate to the Chapter Settings

  1. Find the chapter you wish to set to Draft.

  2. Click on the menu icon in the top-right corner of the chapter and select 'Settings'.

β†’ Change Chapter Status to Draft

  1. In the 'Status' section, click the arrow button to open the dropdown menu.

  2. Select 'Draft' and then click 'Save changes'.
