Sometimes, you may realise that a page type doesn't quite suit the content you want to display. For example, a Text Page might feel too plain, and you'd like to add an image for better engagement. Instead of starting over, you can easily convert the page into another type, such as a Text with Image Page. This process retains all relevant data, like the page title, description, and optional Info Button text, while transitioning the page to the new format.
π Important Note:
If you're converting from a 'Text + Image Page' to an 'Image Page', any existing images will be removed.
Note: If you no longer have the original images saved elsewhere, you can save them by right-clicking on the image and selecting 'Save Image As...' before converting.
We recommend using Google Chrome for the best experience when working with AppicalNow.
Steps to convert a page
β Navigate to the Page
Go to the page that you want to convert to a different type.
β Access Advanced Page Options
Click on 'Advanced Page Options' to view more settings for your page.
β Choose the Desired Page Type
For example, if you want to convert a Text Page into a Text with Image Page, select that option.
β Select and Confirm
Select the new page type and click 'Convert'.
A pop-up will appear reminding you that some data not relevant to the new page type may be lost.
If you are confident in your choice, click 'Convert' again to finalise the change.
β Add Any Missing Content
Once converted, the page will adopt the new type. In this example, your Text Page becomes a Text with Image Page, and you can now add images to enhance it.
