Overview

When managing multiple new hires, courses, or groups, generating reports with specific data can become overwhelming. Standard reports often contain more information than needed, cluttering the report with irrelevant columns.

Custom Reporting allows you to create tailored reports, selecting only the data that is necessary. Whether you're reporting on individual users, groups, or across multiple courses. You can also filter based on tags and choose which columns to include, making your reports more precise and manageable.

Steps on how to create a custom report

→ Navigate to Reporting

Click on ‘Reporting’ in the menu to begin creating your custom report.

→ Choose Custom Reporting

Go to Custom, and click on ‘Select’.

→ Select the Course(s), Users or Groups and Creation date

Select Course(s)

Select the course(s) you want to include in the report.

Choose Users or Groups

  • For multiple users: Search for the desired users and select them.

  • For groups: Change the selection in the dropdown to ‘Groups’ and type the group name in the search bar.

Filter Tags

To create a report based on tags you will have to change te selection as well.

A 'Filter Tags' button will appear if the course that you selected earlier contains tags. Note: the 'Filter Tags' option only appears if you select 1 course. You will only see the users that have the tag or tags that you have selected.

→ Select Information to Include in the Report

Choose the specific data points you want to include by checking the relevant checkboxes.

Available columns include:

User: ID, First Name, Last Name, Full Name, Email, Groups, Role, First sign in at, First day, Devices, Visits, Created at, Invitation accepted at, Last sign in, Latest policy, Invited by, Language, Country tags, Office tags, Role tags, Followed by, Following.

Course, Story and Chapter: Progress, Score, Visits, Time Spent.

Page: Answer, Result.

  • Answers/Results, you can further narrow it down to quiz/essay pages.

→ Download Your Report

Once you’ve selected the necessary columns, click ‘Done’.

Your report will download as an .XLSX file, containing only the data you selected.
