Overview

Course Event Logs provide a transparent overview of all changes made to your course content, such as creating, updating, or deleting pages, chapters, or stories. This feature is particularly useful for maintaining accountability within a team, ensuring edits are traceable, and understanding the evolution of your course.

Example

Let’s say a new onboarding course is being collaboratively created. The Course Event Logs allow the administrator to check who added the “Welcome Page,” when it was edited last, or if a critical chapter was accidentally deleted and by whom.

A list will appear displaying:

  • When the change occurred.

  • Who made the change.

  • Event type: Created, updated, or deleted.

  • Content type: Page, chapter, or story.

  • Content name: The title of the affected item.

Steps to View Course Event Logs

→ Access Courses

Navigate to Courses in the menu on the left-hand side.

→ Open Recent Edits

Click on the text that says Last edit 'x' days ago for the desired course.

→ Review the Event Log

A list will appear displaying:

  • When the change occurred.

  • Who made the change.

  • Event type: Created, updated, or deleted.

  • Content type: Page, chapter, or story.

  • Content name: The title of the affected item.

This log gives you a detailed view of all changes made, helping you track progress and ensure accuracy in your courses.
