In this tutorial you will learn how to set a reminder for users to activate their account

It can happen that you've send an invitation to a user and they forget to activate their account. It is possible to set a reminder e-mail to motivate him or her to activate their account (set a password). The email that the user receives is shown below.

*We recommend to use Google Chrome to ensure an optimal experience when using AppicalNow.

Step 1. After logging in as an Administrator or Editor click on ‘Courses’ in the menu on the left.

Step 2. Click on the menu-icon in the top right corner of the course that you want to style and select ‘Settings’.

Step 3. Scroll down to the option 'Amount of days users should be reminded to activate". Click on the arrow next to the '-' and select a number.

The number set here defines the amount of reminder emails a user receives, starting from the day they were invited until they create an account (For example: 3 = 3 emails in total, 1 per day).

The first reminder email will be sent 2 days after the day the invitation was sent.

This email will be sent 10 days in a row or as soon as a user has seen 1 page in that specific course.

Note:

You can also customise these emails if you scroll down to Emails for your end users.
