Overview
This article explains how to set up reminders that encourage users to return to the app if their progress is too low in relation to the set runtime. By sending automated reminders, you can help users stay on track with their onboarding journey and ensure they engage with key course content.
Example
For instance, during onboarding, if a user hasn’t completed the first chapter within three days of starting, a reminder email can nudge them to return and continue their progress.
📌 Important:
You can configure up to three reminder points during the runtime of the course.
Both the timing of the reminder and the percentage of progress required are customisable.
Use analytics to decide the best reminder points based on average progress data and key touchpoints in the employee journey.
Steps to set reminders for users to return to the APP
→ Access Course Settings
Navigate to ‘Courses’ in the menu on the left. Select the desired course, then click ‘Edit’ in the course settings to open the course customisation options.
→ Enable Runtime
In the course settings, scroll to the ‘Runtime’ section. Select ‘Enable’ from the dropdown menu to activate runtime tracking for the course.
→ Configure Reminder Rules
In the ‘Reminder Rules’ section, adjust the settings to define:
Moment in the runtime (e.g., day 3, day 7, day 14).
Percentage of progress (e.g., less than 25%, 50%, or 75%).
These settings determine when reminders are triggered.
