Overview
This tutorial shows you how to connect glossary items directly to texts in the user journey using inline links. By linking glossary items to specific words on a page, users can click the highlighted term to view its definition without navigating away.
Example
If the glossary includes "Lunch" with a definition, linking this word on a page lets users click "Lunch" to see its meaning instantly.
Steps to link glossary items to texts
β Add the Item to Your Glossary
Navigate to the Glossary section in the Knowledge menu.
Create a new glossary item by adding a title and description.
The title is essential as it will be referenced in your text later.
(Skip this step if the item already exists in your glossary.)
β Create the Link
Open the page where you want to include the linked glossary item.
In the text or title field, type the word you want to link in the following format:
βg:yourword:gReplace your word with the title of the glossary item.
For example, if your glossary item is Lunch, you would type: g:Lunch:g
β Save and Test the Link
Save the changes to the page.
Open the user journey player to check the page.
The glossary-linked word will appear highlighted.
Clicking on the word will reveal its definition from the glossary.
