Overview

Adding a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section to your course menu makes it easy for users to find answers to common questions. You can categorise the questions for better organization, helping users quickly locate the information they need.

Example

Let’s say your course introduces a new onboarding tool. You could use the FAQ to answer common questions like:

  • How do I log in?

  • Where can I find my onboarding schedule?

  • Who should I contact for technical support?

Steps to Add a FAQ

→ Navigate to Courses Editor

  1. Click on ‘Courses’ in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

  2. Locate the course where you want to add a FAQ.

  3. Click on the ‘Editor’ button in the bottom-left corner of the course tile.

→ Go to Knowledge Items

  1. Click on 'Knowledge' to access the options for customising your course menus.

  2. Choose 'FAQ' option.

→ Go to FAQ and Add Questions

  1. Click on the 'View' button next to your newly created FAQ.

  2. Select 'Add FAQ' to create a new question.

  3. Enter a question, provide an answer, and click 'Create' to save.

Organize FAQs by Categories

  1. Click on 'Categories' in your FAQ settings.

  2. Click 'Add a Category', type the category name, and click 'Add'.

  3. Drag categories to rearrange their order as needed.

  4. To delete a category, drag it to the far right until the delete pop-up appears.

→ Finalise and Publish

Review your FAQ setup, ensuring the questions and categories are correctly entered and organized. Save your changes.
