Overview
Bulk uploading checklist items allows you to add multiple tasks to a checklist quickly by importing a CSV or Excel file, rather than entering items one by one. This feature is especially useful if you have a long list of items to add, saving time and ensuring accuracy.
Example
If youβre creating a checklist for a new employee onboarding course, you might have a set list of tasks (e.g., "Complete HR Documentation," "Attend Security Training") with specific deadlines. By using the bulk upload feature, you can easily import all tasks and their completion times in one go.
Steps to bulk upload items to your checklist
β Navigate to Courses and Editor
Click on 'Courses' in the left menu.
In the desired course, click on 'Editor' located in the bottom-left corner.
β Select Knowledge
Click on 'Knowledge' to access knowledge items.
β Open an existing Checklist or create a new one
If using an existing checklist, click on 'View.'
If creating a new checklist, name it (e.g., "Checklist company-name") and select 'Checklist' from the dropdown.

Language
Select the language for the checklist items you're importing. This allows you to organise items by language if your course supports multiple languages.
Import Type
Choose the type of import based on the purpose of the upload:
New Records: Use this option to add entirely new checklist items to your course. This is useful when you're importing tasks that arenβt currently in the checklist.
Translate Existing: Choose this option to upload translations for items already in the checklist. It allows you to update existing tasks with translated text without adding new items.
Category (If Applicable)
Assign a category to the checklist items for easier organisation, or leave this unassigned if a category isn't needed.
