Overview

AppicalNow supports six types of knowledge items that can be used to organize and display important information within your courses or learning pathways. These knowledge items allow you to provide structured content, enhance user engagement, and improve the learning experience.

Here are the six types of knowledge items:

→ Checklist

A checklist is a helpful tool to guide users through a series of tasks or steps. You can add items to the checklist, and users can mark them off as they complete each one. It’s a great way to track progress and ensure all tasks are completed.

→ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The FAQ section provides a place to answer common questions users might have about the course or the company. It’s an effective way to address recurring queries and provide helpful information without having to respond to individual questions.

→ Glossary

A glossary allows you to provide definitions and explanations for important terms related to your course or company. You can create a list of terms and their descriptions, making it easier for users to understand specific terminology.

→ People Finder

The People Finder helps users find colleagues or team members within the organization. You can provide a searchable list of people, making it easy to locate employees based on their role, department, or other attributes.

→ Notifications

Notifications are used to alert users about important updates, events, or changes within the platform. These can be set up to inform users about new content, deadlines, or any other relevant activity that requires attention.

→ Profile

The Profile knowledge item allows users to view and update their personal information. It can include basic details such as contact info, job role, and any other relevant data that users might need to manage their profile within the system.
