Overview

This guide will show you how to create a new knowledge item in a course. AppicalNow supports six types of knowledge items: Checklist, FAQ, Glossary, Notification, People, and Profile. These items help you share structured information, making it easy for users to find what they need.

Example

Adding an FAQ knowledge item allows you to answer commonly asked questions, improving onboarding efficiency.

Steps to add a new Knowledge Item

→ Access the Course

  1. Click on ‘Courses’ in the menu on the left side of your screen.

  2. Select the course where you want to add the knowledge item and click ‘Editor’ in the bottom-left corner.

→ Navigate to the Knowledge Section

  1. In the editor, click on ‘Knowledge.’

  2. You will be directed to the Knowledge section for the selected course.

→ Add a New Knowledge Item

  1. Choose the type of knowledge item you wish to create: Checklist, FAQ, Glossary, Notification, People, or Profile.

  2. Give your new knowledge item a name.

→ Organize Your Knowledge Item (Optional)

If you are creating a Glossary or People Finder, consider grouping entries using categories for better organisation.
