A tutorial about the Content Export feature

Content Export is a feature that allows you to generate an Excel file containing detailed information about your organisation's content. This tutorial will guide you through the process of exporting data such as tags, enabled features, page status (draft or live) and page languages into an Excel file.

Step 1: Log in to the Appical Editor

Step 2: Click on the Courses tab in the sidebar menu

Step 2: Scroll to the Course you want to export and click the hamburger menu

Step 3: In the menu click on 'Excel'

Step 4: Click on 'OK' to start downloading the Content Export

Step 5: Download the Excel file in your mailbox



You will find the overview of all the information about the course you've selected. Information such as default language, amount of tags, name of the tags etc.

At the bottom of the Excel file you can select all the stories you've created. Per story you will see all the information about the chapters and pages in the story.

Page information consists of the ID, Subpage ID, Page type, Name, Status, URL, Page created at and Page updated at.

For a visual overview of the content you can use the Sitemap feature.
