Overview
A Social Story page allows you to embed an Instagram post or timeline directly into your course, offering an engaging and visually dynamic way to share updates, announcements, or highlights from your company’s social media. The page displays a text area on the left and the embedded Instagram content on the right, providing a balanced layout for both instructions and media.
Example
Use this page to display your company’s Instagram highlights, such as office culture, team-building events, or product launches. For instance, embed a post celebrating an employee milestone to showcase your company’s values and atmosphere.
📌 Important note: Make sure the embedded post is publicly visible on Instagram to avoid display issues.
Steps to Add a Social Story Page
→ Access the Course
Navigate to Courses from the menu on the left.
→ Open the Course Editor
Find the course you want to update and click the Editor button in the bottom-left corner of the course tile.
→ Select a Story and Chapter
Choose the story and chapter where you want to add your Social Story page from the menu on the left-hand side.
→ Add a New Page
Click on Add Page and choose Social Story from the options. Click Add Page again in the bottom-right corner.
→ Configure Page Settings
Select the desired language.
Give the page a name (e.g., "Instagram Highlights").
Set the page status to Live or Draft. Use the Draft setting if you’re still working on the page while the course is active.
→ Add Instructions for Users
Write a clear assignment or introduction in the text field beneath the title, such as: "Take a look at our Instagram post showcasing our recent team event."
→ Embed Instagram Content
Go to www.instagram.com and locate the post you want to embed.
From the post or profile that you'd like to embed, click '
' button in the top right.
Click Embed, then click Copy embed code.
Note: If you can't see Embed, the post or account may be private or may have embeds turned off and cannot be embedded.
The embed code will now be copied to your clipboard and can be pasted into your HTML editor.
