Overview
If you're experiencing issues with the Appical iOS app, such as crashes or other performance problems, checking for updates and clearing the app's cache can often help. This ensures you're running the latest version and removes any corrupt or outdated temporary data.
Example: You're facing repeated crashes when using the app for onboarding tasks. Updating the app and then clearing its cache can restore it to working condition.
📌 Unlike Android, iOS doesn't have a built-in "Clear storage" option for individual apps. Instead, use the Offload App feature described below, which clears cached data while keeping your device's other content untouched.
Steps to Check Version, Update, and Clear Cache
→ Check the App Version & Update
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Scroll down to see if Appical has a pending update listed.
If so, tap Update next to Appical to install the latest version.
→ Clear the App's Cache (Offload App)
Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage.
Scroll down and tap Appical.
Tap Offload App.
Note: This removes the app itself and clears its cached data, but keeps your device's other data untouched. The app icon stays on your home screen.Tap the Appical icon again to reinstall it from the App Store, then log back in.
→ If the Issue Persists: Delete and Reinstall
Press and hold the Appical app icon until a menu appears.
Tap Remove App → Delete App.
Reinstall Appical from the App Store and log back in.
