Overview

If you're experiencing issues with the Appical Android app, such as crashes or other performance problems, you may need to check the version and clear the app's storage. This can help resolve many issues by ensuring you're running the latest version of the app and removing any corrupt or outdated temporary data.

Example: you might be facing repeated crashes when using the app for onboarding tasks. By checking the version and updating if necessary, followed by clearing the app’s storage, you can restore the app to its optimal working condition.

Steps to check version, update, and clear storage on Android

→ Check App Version

  1. Hold your finger on the Appical app icon on your home screen or app drawer for a few seconds.

  2. Select App info from the options that appear.

  3. Scroll down to Advanced and tap on it.

  4. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find App details. Tap on it to open the Google Play Store.

  5. Here, you can check if there is a new version available. If yes, tap Update to install the latest version.

→ Clear App Storage

If updating the app doesn't resolve the issue, try clearing the app's storage.

  1. Open the App info screen again by holding the app icon and tapping App info.

  2. Scroll down and tap on Storage.

  3. Select Clear Storage or Clear Data.

Note: This will remove temporary files and reset the app without deleting any personal data stored in the app.
