Export Course Overview

Learn how to use the Course Overview Export feature to generate a high-level Excel overview of your course hierarchy.

Overview

The "Export overview of course" option lets you generate a high-level overview of the course hierarchy, including story IDs, live status, and admin URLs. Rather than exporting full text content, this option gives you a quick, structural snapshot of the course.

This is useful when you want to check the status of your stories at a glance or quickly navigate to a specific story via its admin URL, without reviewing all the detailed page content.

Example

For instance, before publishing a course, you can use this export to confirm that all stories are set to "live" and not left in draft. The admin URLs let you jump straight to any story that still needs attention.
