Overview

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to move a chapter from one story to another in AppicalNow. This is especially useful when you want to reorganize content within your course or place an existing chapter in a more appropriate story. Whether it's because you've decided to restructure your content or need to update the flow of the course, moving chapters can be done easily and efficiently.

Example:

For example, if you've created a chapter called "Company Policies" under a story titled "Workplace Culture," but later decide that it would fit better under a story called "Onboarding Essentials," you can easily move that chapter to the new story.

Steps to Move a Chapter to Another Story

β†’ Access the Course Editor

  1. First, click on 'Courses' in the menu on the left to navigate to the course where your chapter is located.

  2. Select the course in which the chapter you want to move is located. Once inside the course, click the 'Editor' button in the bottom left corner of the screen to enter the course editor.

  2. Select 'Move' from the dropdown list.

β†’ Choose the New Story and Course

A window will appear where you can select the new course and story where you'd like to move the chapter. Once you've chosen the appropriate destination, click on 'Move' to finalise the transfer.
