Overview

In this tutorial, you will learn how to easily reorder chapters within your course to ensure the right structure for your learners. Whether you need to add a new chapter or change the sequence, sorting chapters allows you to manage your course content efficiently.

Example:
Imagine you’ve created a course with three stories, six chapters, and more than 20 pages. A week later, you realise that you missed including an important "Welcome" chapter. By sorting the chapters, you can move it to the top of your course without needing to rebuild everything.

Steps to Sort Chapters

β†’ Access the Course Editor

  1. Navigate to Courses in the main menu

  2. Click on Editor in the bottom left corner of the course you want to adjust.

β†’ Open the Desired Story

Click on View next to the story that contains the chapters you want to reorder.

β†’ Rearrange the Chapters

  1. Click and hold the chapter you want to move.

  2. Then drag it to the new position in the list. Release the mouse button when the chapter is in the desired spot.
