๐Ÿ“Œ Important: We recommend using Google Chrome for the best experience with AppicalNow.

Overview

In AppicalNow, you can enhance your content by enabling pop-up descriptions for glossary terms, allowing users to see definitions or explanations simply by hovering over specific words. This feature helps clarify key terms and concepts without disrupting the flow of your content. Itโ€™s a great way to provide context and boost understanding for your readers.

Example
For instance, in an onboarding guide, you might want to define specific company terms. By creating a glossary item for "Mission Statement" and linking it in the text, new hires can simply hover over the term to see its description.

Note: You can only use a single word for this feature, phrases arenโ€™t supported.

Steps to Add Pop-Up Glossary Descriptions

โ†’ Add the Term and Description to the Glossary

If the word is not yet in the glossary, add it in the glossary section first along with its description.

โ†’ Insert the Glossary Term in the Text

  1. Navigate to the page where you want to include the glossary item with its pop-up description.

Note: Make sure that the word is exactly the same as in the Glossary Page. For instance, including capital letters.

  2. Type the term where you'd like it to appear and encase it in the following format:
