Sentence: How to add images to a collection, edit asset details, and add descriptors to make your assets easier to find.
Overview
The Asset Library lets you upload new images and videos to a collection, and edit their details afterwards so they stay accurate and easy to find.
Example: For instance, after uploading a new product photo, you can crop it, add alt text, and tag it with relevant descriptors so your team can find it quickly later.
📌 Important:
🤖 You can also use AI-generated alt text and descriptors to save time. This is an opt-in feature, see Work Smarter in the Asset Library for details.
Steps to Upload and Edit Assets
Follow the steps below to upload a new asset and edit its details.
→ Add Image(s) to a Collection
Click Upload Image or drag & drop your image to add a new asset from your device.
→ Open an Asset to Edit It
Click on the asset (image) in one of your collections to open its Asset Details page.
→ Edit Asset Information
Use the configuration (gear) icon to crop the image, add or edit alt text, replace the file, rename the image, move it to a different collection, or delete it.
→ Add Image Descriptors
In the Image descriptors field, type keywords for your image and press Enter after each one. Descriptors can include letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens (-), underscores (_), and apostrophes ('), and help when searching through the Asset Library.
