In this tutorial you will learn how to bulk upload questions and answers to your FAQ. Once you have added a FAQ to your course it's possible to upload questions and answers one by one or per import. The import function allows you to upload a CSV or Excel file.

*We recommend to use Google Chrome to ensure an optimal experience when using AppicalNow.

Step 1. Click on ‘Courses’ in the menu on the left.

Step 2. Next, click on ‘EDITOR’ in the bottom left corner of the course where you want to add a glossary.

Step 3. Click on ‘Knowledge’

Step 4. Navigate to your existing FAQ and click on 'VIEW',

or ‘Add a knowledge item’.

In case of a freshly added FAQ, give it a name like Frequently Asked Questions and select FAQ from the dropdown menu.

Step 5. In case you've opened an existing FAQ, click on 'IMPORT'

Step 6. Select a category or leave it as is.

Step 7. Download a template of the FAQ Import file by clicking the button below.

After clicking the button click on File > Download > Microsoft Excel or Comma-separated values download button. See the image below.

Column A: questions
Column B: answers

See the example below.
Note: The file should be empty except for the questions and answers. The first word should be at cell A1. The description of this word should be in cell B1.

Step 8. Go back to the Appical Editor and click on 'Add File'. Navigate to the file that you just created and click on 'Open'.

Step 9. Click on 'Start Import'.

Hooray! You now know how to bulk import questions and answers to your FAQ.
